On behalf of the CICIAMS NEWS Editorial Committee, it is my joy to welcome you the first electronically published edition of the CICIAMS NEWS. It is CICIAMS’ goal to give every member the opportunity to obtain a free copy of the CICIAMS NEWS, as there is much good news to share. Sharing information is important as it can be a learning tool and it can be an opportunity to display local, national and regional activities and how important these activities are to our individuals who are the recipients of the good works. Sharing information can also shed light on how these activities contribute to the functioning and future of CICIAMS. CICIAMS NEWS has the potential to stimulate the growth of local, national and regional memberships and it can be the means of publicity to help ensure successful attendances at conferences and World Congresses.
